Who gets results with ReFirme??

Our ReFirme device can help when…

• Patients have loose skin that is fairly thin. Neck skin, some abdomen skin, lower facial skin is suitable. Around the eyes is suitable. We have found that ReFirme treatments do not work as well on heavy thick skin e.g. most male facial skin.
• Patients are old enough to have developed a looseness to their skin but young enough to be able to generate new collagen in the skin with suitable treatment. Younger patients without loose skin of course don’t need ReFirme! But we find that our most senior patients don’t seem to generate collagen in response to the treatment as well as our “boomer” and “cusp” patients.
• Patients want a gradual result, delivered safely, conveniently, with no down time. There’s no doubt that revolumisation with fat and/or fillers, in combination with surgery and ablative laser treatments, will give the fastest and most impressive results. Patients wanting surgical-level changes need surgical-level treatments. But ReFirme is a wiser option for patients who are not in a hurry and can manage to come in to the practice a few times to see gradual improvement.
• Patients don’t want surgery. Don’t get us wrong. We like surgical results too. But there’s a big place for slow, safe, reasonably priced treatments that give results over time
  ReFirme applies radiofrequency energy through and under the skin we treat. The radiofrequency energy creates heat under the skin, but without heating the skin itself.
  This energy heats and contracts collagen, and stimulates the formation of new collagen.
